I'm torn between listing the Firearms and the Archery series as a single series or two. They seem to be identical in design, with only the word and paper color change. The Archery stamps are quite a bit scarcer than the firearms. The Vanderford auction increased the spread between the Archery and Firearms series. The Archery all went for $150+ with the top being the rouletted #1 at $320. The Firearms stamps were nearly given away. I didn't even bid on these because of the high estimates, but the #1a (rouletted) went for $20 against a $150 estimate. I wish I had bid on some.

There is room for some study on these. Various of these and the Deer/Turkey and Deer stamps have hand-stamp block overprints of "DEER" "ANTLERLESS DEER" and "TURKEY". The significance of this is not obvious.
